Reporting Misconduct

Share:

Dear USA Waterski and Wake Sports Members,

As part of our efforts to further athlete safety, we are sending out information on how to report misconduct to both the SafeSport Center as well as local and state authorities.

USA-WSWS requires that violations of our Prohibited and Restricted Conduct policies as stated in our SafeSport Handbook, as well as suspicions or allegations of child physical or sexual abuse, be immediately reported. USA-WSWS members should not investigate suspicions or allegations of child physical or sexual abuse or attempt to evaluate the credibility of validity of such allegations as a condition for reporting to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

To report to the U.S. Center for SafeSport, you may use the online reporting form at https://uscenterforsafesport.org/report-a-concern/, or call 833-5US-SAFE (587-7223).

To report a concern to USA-WSWS, you may contact Executive Director Kevin Michael at kmichael@usawaterski.org, with copies to USA-WSWS’ President Bob Archambeau (president@usawaterski.org) and the chair of USA-WSWS’ Judicial Committee Jeffery Smith (jsmith@honigman.com)

We appreciate all that each and everyone of you are doing to ensure our athletes safety.
