Canada’s Miller Wins 55K WEST 4

Canada’s Dave Miller won the 55K WEST 4 on Sunday at Lake 38 in Quincy, Fla. 55K WEST (World Elite Slalom Tour) is a tournament series featuring some of the top men’s 35+ water skiers in the world battling it out in a cash prize head-to-head format. Miller defeated U.S. athlete Todd Kuykendall (Enid, Okla.) in the head-to-head final. The event was sponsored by Goode, Radar, and Masterline USA.
Casey Contos (Anderson, Ind.), Don Aschenbrenner (Cornelius, N.C.) and Jeremy Newby-Ricci (Great Britain) rounded out the top-five placements.

Don Aschenbrenner of Cornelius, N.C., won the 55k WEST 3, Sept. 17-19, 2021 at Lake 38 in Quincy, Fla. Ben Favret of Windermere, Fla., won the 55k WEST 2 on July 18, 2021 at the Swiss Waterski Resort in Clermont, Fla. Mark Menasci of Gilbert, Ariz., won the 55k WEST 1 in September 2020 at Lake 38 in Quincy, Fla.
55K WEST 5 is slated for Oct. 15-16 at the Swiss Ski School in Clermont, Fla.
