U.S. Water Ski Team Selected For 35+ Worlds

USA Water Ski & Wake Sports and the American Water Ski Association are pleased to announce the athletes selected to the 2022 U.S. 35+ Water Ski World Championships Team. The 10-member team will compete in the 6th 35+ Water Ski World Championships, Sept. 13-18, at Ski Nautique Club de Bordeaux in Baurech Lake, France. The American Water Ski Association’s International Activities Committee selected the team based on qualifications criteria previously approved by the American Water Ski Association's board of directors.

Athletes selected to the team were: Erin Kalkbrenner (Maize, Kan.) and Graham Fizer (Mooresville, N.C.), 35+; Lori Krueger (Martindale, Texas) and Scot Ellis (Auburndale, Fla.), 45+; Joy Kelley (Loudon, Tenn.), Hutch Haines (Avon, Conn.), Marc Bedsole (Orlando, Fla.) and Tina Lindsey (Martindale, Texas), 55+; and Janie Fausold (Pleasant Grove, Calif.) and Stephen Miller (Marysville, Wash.), 65+.

The Ski Nautique will be the exclusive towboat of the 6th 35+ Water Ski World Championships. Nautique is a National Sponsor of USA Water Ski & Wake Sports.

The U.S. 35+ Water Ski World Championships Team won the overall team gold medal and 28 U.S. water ski athletes combined to earn 53 individual medals, including 19 gold medals, in respective events at the 5th 35+ Water Ski World Championships, Nov. 27-Dec. 2, 2018 at Lago Los Morros in San Bernardo, Chile.
