Shark Wake Park Hosting IWWF Pan Am Cable Championships

2022 IWWF Pan Am Cable Wakeboard ChampionshipsShark Wake Park in West Palm Beach, Fla., will host the inaugural IWWF Pan American Cable Championships, Friday through Saturday. The event will be a qualifier for the 2022 IWWF World Cable Wakeboard and Wakeskate Championships in November in Thailand.

The top-four U.S. athletes’ placements from each age category from U14 through Veterans will be representatives of Team USA at the IWWF World Cable Wakeboard and Wakeskate Championships, Oct. 30-Nov. 7, in Pathumthani, Thailand. Any individual competing will be qualified to compete as an individual at the Worlds.

Divisions for competition for wakeboard are U11 Boys/Girls , U14 Boys/Girls, U18 Men/Women, Open Men/Women, Pro Men/Women, Over 30 Men/Women, Over 40 Men/Women, Adaptive Seated. Divisions for competition for wakeskate are U18 Men/Women, Open Men/Women and Pro Men/Women. A cash-prize totaling $10,400 will be up for grabs for the Pro Men/women wakeboard and wakeskate competitors.
