Since the founding of Swiss Pro Tricks in 2023, Erika Lang has been the only female winner and that streak lives to see another year. On Easter Sunday in at Swiss Waterski Resort in Clermont, Florida, Erika set the bar high with 10,930 in round one, which remained the highest score after both preliminary rounds. As top seed, she was the last skier to take to the water in finals and watched along as Anna Hunter executed an incredible 10,890 point run and turned the heat up. Erika saw this and didn’t hesitate to go big, scoring 11,260 to take her third consecutive Swiss Pro Tricks title and set a pro tournament record. Yes, you read that correctly!

Amongst all the talented skiers and pro tournaments throughout history, Erika scored the highest and came up only 170 points short of the all-time world record, which she previously held on multiple occasions.

Anna Hunter took silver with 10,890, the same score that put her in finals. Additionally, Alexia Abelson had a very strong performance with 8,440 in finals to secure a 4th. The final two American women were Aliaksandra Danisheuskaya and Ella Gay, placing 9th and 11th respectively. Aliaksandra put up 7,170 and Ella scored 5,300.

On the mens side, Jake Abelson took 4th place with 10,900 in finals. While Jake managed to include some high scoring ski line tricks, he was slightly lacking in pace compared to the event leaders. We look forward to seeing him perfect those bigger tricks and up his tempo going into the season. A little below Jake, in 6th place, was Adam Pickos with 9,730 in the final. Another 2 places down, in 8th place, was Erick Macias with an extremely strong 10,460 in round 2 but an early fall limiting him to 7,430 in finals. The last of our men’s trickers was Jacob Duffy, scoring 6,960 to round off the event.

After an exciting start to the Waterski Pro Tour, we’re already excited for the season to come. A giant thank you to Swiss Waterski Resort in Clermont, Florida, for hosting this great event. Also big thanks to all the sponsors that supported this event. Last but not least, a massive thank you to The Waterski Broadcasting Company for streaming all of the action free for everyone to enjoy!
