Aquanuts Win Wisconsin State Show Ski Championships

The Aquanuts (Twin Lakes, Wis.) won the team title at the 55th Wisconsin State Show Ski Championships, July 15-18, at Lake Wazeecha in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.
The Aquanuts earned high-scoring awards for pick-up boat crews, high individual club act, ballet, barefoot, jump and pyramid on the way to tallying a grand total 1,869.48 points. The Mad-City Ski Team (Madison, Wis.) placed second with 1,783.08 points and the Rock Aqua Jays (Janesville, Wis.) finished third (1,760.76 points).
In addition to the team competition, athletes competed for individual titles in swivel, doubles, freestyle jumping and team jumping. Winning titles in the Division 1 Open divisions were: Grace Petzold, swivel (18.00 points); Kim Stoner and Cory Krivitz, doubles (17.07 points); Ethan Shulda, freestyle jumping (900.00 points); and Webfooters, team jumping (68.31 points).
Shermalot (Nekoosa, Wis.) won the Division 2 team title and the Water Walkers (Wausau/Mosinee, Wis.) won the Division 3 team title.
