History Made at Travers Grand Prix 2025

The Travers Grand Prix 2025 was one for the books! This tournament is unlike any other waterski event out there—it encompasses three unique competitions that go beyond the usual three-event format.

The tournament is structured as a team event, featuring a mix of both professional and amateur skiers. Each team member competes in waterskiing, skeet shooting, and go-kart racing, with the average score from all three events determining the team’s overall score.

There was plenty of impressive shooting, with several participants hitting 10 out of 10 clays, some lightning-fast lap times on the go-kart track, and numerous personal bests on the slalom course.

This was the final stop of the Waterski Pro Tour for 2025, and it was one to remember. Alongside many big scores recorded throughout the weekend, there were also a few firsts in the sport of waterskiing. As these athletes pushed the limits, we wanted to share some of the event’s highlights.

  • 7 of the 8 women in the finals made it through the 11.25m (38off) and into the 10.75m (39off) pass.
  • For the FIRST time in waterski history there was a three way run off in the Open Women's division with Regina Jaquess, Whitney Rini, and Jamie Bull all making it through the 10.75m (39off) line length and tying with a 1 at 10.25m (41off).
