Three U.S. Athletes Win Titles At MasterCraft Pro

U.S. water ski athletes Regina Jaquess (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.), Freddy Krueger (Winter Garden, Fla.) and Nate Smith (McCordsville, Ind.) won respective titles at the 2023 MasterCraft Pro, Sept. 8-9, at Action Water Sports’ Lake Grew in Polk City, Fla.
Jaquess won women’s slalom, scoring 2 buoys at 41 feet off in the finals, edging Canada’s Jaimee Bull (1 buoy at 41 feet off) for the victory.
Smith won men’s slalom, scoring 1 buoy at 43 feet off in the finals. Great Britain’s Frederick Winter placed second, scoring 5 buoys at 41 feet off.
Krueger soared 230 feet to win the men’s jump title. Great Britain’s Jack Critchley finished second with a 222-foot leap.
Hannah Straltsova (IWWF) won women’s jump (185 feet).
