Nicholson Wins IX San Gervasio Pro Am

Allie Nicholson (Gallatin, Tenn.) won her first career pro slalom tournament at the IX San Gervasio Pro Am, July 14-16, in San Gervasio, Italy.

Nicholson, who a week earlier became only the 12th female in history to run a full pass at 39-1/2 feet off and was the runner-up at the 2022 San Gervsio Pro Am, scored 6 buoys at 38 feet off in the finals to earn the head-to-head victory in women's slalom over Ali Garcia (Winter Garden, Fla.), who scored 1-1/2 buoys at 38 feet off.

Great Britain's Frederick Winter won the men's slalom event, scoring 5 buoys at 41 feet off. Italy's Thomas Degasperi finished second (1 buoy at 41 feet off).
