The Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team won the 2023 Central Regionals.
The Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team (Wonder Lake, Ill.) won the team title at the 2023 Central Regional Show Ski Championships, July 8-9, at Hidden Lake in Warsaw, Ind.
Wonder Lake earned high-scoring awards for pick-up boat, towboat driving, sound crew, showmanship and production on the way to tallying a grand total 1,716.67 points. The Lake City Skiers (Warsaw, Ind.), which earned the high-scoring award for dock and equipment personnel, placed second with 1,616.9 points. The Backwater Gamblers (Rock Island, Ill.) rounded out the top-three placements in the seven-team field with 1,409.8 points.
