Lang Wins Inaugural Swiss Pro Tricks Tournament

U.S. water ski athlete Erika Lang (Gilbert, Ariz.) won women’s tricks at the inaugural Swiss Pro Tricks tournament on April 23 at the Swiss Waterski Resort in Clermont, Fla. The tournament featured the world's best men's and women's professional tricks skiers.

Lang scored 11,030 points – 230 points shy of tying her current world record - in the finals in defeating fellow U.S. athlete Anna Gay (Winter Garden, Fla.), who scored 10,530 points, and Canada’s Neilly Ross, who tallied 9,950 points.

Great Britain’s Joel Poland won men’s tricks, scoring 12,010 points in the finals.
