LOC Setup Wizard Help
 |
| Before you can use the wizard you must meet the conditions stated above.
Only tournaments which have met these conditions will be available in this wizard.
Enter the start date of your tournament and click the button |
 |
The tournaments displayed on the list are prequalified for Online Registration.
That means the LOC has a pay pal account tested and registered with online registrations,
the tournament has received sanction approval from USA Water Ski,
and the $15 setup fee has been paid.
If your tournament does not display - check the date and then make sure all conditions are met.
Select your tournament and click the select button. |
 |
The first time you select a tournament in the wizard it requires the Edit Code as password.
The edit code is supplied on the sanction receipt and is available to tournament directors and administrators.
The sanction system has a method for retrieving the EditCode by email if you forgot yours.
Enter the Edit Code for this tournament and click Submit. |
 |
If the login is successful you will be asked to select the Pay Pal account you want to use for this tournament.
Most LOC's will probably only need one Pay Pal Business Account - but you can test and register as many as you want - and they will all appear on this list.
You must select ONE account to use for this tournament. Click Submit |
 |
The Pay Pal Business Account you specified is now associated with this tournament.
The Wizard has created an AdminCode for you to use to access this Wizard and the other admin functions in the Online Registration system from now on.
The Edit Code is too widely known to act as password for financial operations.
The AdminCode is tournament specific and is known only to the person who sets up the tournament in the Wizard.
SAVE AND PROTECT THE ADMIN CODE.
If you need to return to the wizard again the AdminCode will be required - the Edit Code will not get you in.
Click on the header as instructed to open the wizard. |
 |
Select the Start Date then specify the tournament from the droplist as before.
When you return to a previously set up tournament you are required to provide the AdminCode as password.
The successful login screen (below) will display and you can click on the header to proceed.
NOTE: If any entries have been received for your tournament the wizard will display but you will not be allowed to save any changes you make.
A prominent notice will display and the Save button will be disabled. |
| 3 Round 3 Event Class C |
 |
|
A traditional format 3 round 3 event Class C tournament is displayed above. The guidebook
text for the tournament is below.
The Wizard displays one droplist for each event offered, and others for discounts etc.
Placing the mouse over an item will cause a "balloon" to open giving further instructions
on that item.
Some of the information (late date, late fee, how late fee is applied) is not editable here.
That information was captured on the sanction application. If you need to
edit that you have to do it on the sanction application.
The fees for 1, 2, and 3 events and the maximum number of pulls have been
entered in the droplists to implement the fees specified in the guidebook ad.
Discounts and other fields remain unchanged. To offer a discount set a number in the corresponding discount droplist.
The reset button returns the form to the previously saved state.
The save button saves the work you have done so far - but leaves the form open for
additional edits.
The New Setup button restarts the wizard at the beginning so you can select a different
tournament.
Save frequently to avoid losing your work if the form times out.
