U.S. Water Ski Racing Teams Selected

The National Water Ski Racing Association has announced the selections to the 2009 U.S. Elite Water Ski Racing Team, the U.S. Formula 2 Water Ski Racing Team and the U.S. Junior Water Ski Racing Team. Athletes selected to the teams will compete in the 2009 Water Ski Racing World Championships, July 18-25, in Antwerp, Belgium. The teams were selected based upon performances from the 2008 season, up through the first three races of 2009. A five-person committee appointed by the NWSRA board of directors made the selections.

Water Ski Racing Worlds Set For July 18-25

The 16th Water Ski Racing World Championships will be held July 18-25 in Antwerp, Belgium. The U.S. Elite Water Ski Racing Team, the U.S. Formula 2 Water Ski Racing Team and the U.S. Junior Water Ski Racing Team will participate in the four-race biennial event.

U.S. Open Of Ski Racing Set For Oct. 9-11

More than 100 of the nation's top water ski racers will compete in the 5th U.S. Open Water Ski Racing National Championships, Oct. 11-13, on the Colorado River in Parker, Ariz. The National Water Ski Racing Association (NWSRA), a sport division of USA Water Ski since 1991, will sanction the three-day competition.
