Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Fla. will host Footin’ Fever, a barefoot head-to-head endurance competition on Oct. 25 at 8 a.m. The entry fee for competitors is $50 and includes free parking in the main parking lot, entry to Cypress Gardens, a T-shirt and a cook out following the competition.Read all of Cypress Gardens To Host Barefoot Event

The American Barefoot Club has announced that the 2009 Barefoot Water Ski National Championships will be held Aug. 4-8 at the Barefoot Ski Ranch in Waco, Texas.

Thirty-nine athletes won titles in respective divisions at the 31st annual Lake Elmo Sports Barefoot Water Ski National Championships, Aug. 12-16, at the Blue Moo. More than 100 athletes competed at the five-day tournament. To view results, visit www.barefoot.org.
