2019 America's Cup Invitational Rules

Although sanctioned class C, IWWF rules will be followed for the America’s Cup Invitational finals. Runoffs in the prelims will follow AWSA Nationals Rules. For prelims, skiers will be seeded according to AWSA rankings.

America’s Cup Invitational finals placements will be determined using the FINALS only. First place is the only placement that will be run off. All other ties will remain a tie and any placement money will be split. Run offs for first place in the finals will follow IWWF rules, which includes a random draw for order.

All America’s Cup Invitational skiers that are skiing an event (S,T,J,O) twice at the GOODE Water Ski National Championships are required to notify the registrar of which division they will be skiing for placement and which for non-placement by July 30, 2019.

In an effort to have limited downtime in the finals of tricks, all trick skiers will do one pass at a time. All three finalist will do their first run, followed by all three finalists doing second run. If the skier falls during pass one, the skier will keep their ski on and change skis at the end of the lake.

Skier meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday on site behind the registration building at Okeeheelee Park.
