Milwaukee To Host 2010 Malibu Open

Malibu Boats and Milwaukee County Parks have teamed up to bring the 2010 Malibu Open to Veteran's Park in Milwaukee, Wis. The world-record capability slalom and jumping event, which will be sanctioned by USA Water Ski, will be held Aug. 6-7. The finals will be held under the lights with a total cash-prize purse of $50,000 at stake.
In addition to the slalom and jumping competitions, show skiing, freestyle jumping and barefooting demonstrations also will be held.
The site of Harley-Davidson's 105th anniversary celebration, Veteran's Park has hosted numerous large events. The Harley event welcomed crowds in excess of 100,000.
