Badal Wins Nautique Big Dawg Stop No. 2

U.S. water ski athlete Greg Badal (Brentwood, Calif.) won the second stop of the 2019 Nautique Big Dawg World Slalom Tour on Sunday at Diablo Shores in Brentwood, Calif. Badal defeated fellow U.S. athlete Jeff Rodgers (Ninety Six, S.C.) in the head-to-head final, scoring 5-1/2 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off to Rodgersí 4 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off.

As the premier tour for slalom skiers age 35+ across the globe, the Nautique Big Dawg World Slalom Tour is towed exclusively by the record-setting Ski Nautique.

The tour this year included two qualifying stops as the top slalom skiers battled it out for a spot in the 2019 Nautique Big Dawg World Tour Finals, which will be held Aug. 8-9 at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach, Fla. Spainís Ivan Morros won stop No. 1 on June 30 in Sesena, Toledo, Spain.
