2018 Nautique Big Dawg Tour Schedule Set

Nautique, a Premier Sponsor of USA Water Ski, has announced the dates and locations for the 2018 Nautique Big Dawg World Tour, presented by O’Brien. As the premier tour for 34 mph slalom skiers across the globe who are over age 35, the Big Dawg World Tour is towed exclusively by the record-setting Ski Nautique 200. Each stop will include two rounds of 34 mph slalom action, followed by a bracketed 16-skier head-to-head finale. The tour will include four qualifying stops at premier water ski venues as the top slalom skiers battle it out for a spot in the Big Dawg World Tour Finals.

Stop No. 1 will be held May 5-6 at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach, Fla.; Stop No. 2 will be held June 16-17 at Cedar Ridge Ski Club in Canton, Miss.; Stop No. 3 will take place June 30-July 1 at Sesena Water Ski Complex in Sesena, Toledo, Spain; Stop No. 4 will be held Aug. 25-26 at Laku Landing in Windsor, Colo.; and the Finals will take place Sept. 8-9 at Lake JePaWhit in Gaines, Mich.

“O'Brien is excited to be supporting the Nautique Big Dawg World Tour in 2018,” said O’Brien General Manager Pete Surrette. “As the premier tour for the 34 mph slalom skiers who are over 35, the Big Dawg is a great showcase for water skiing.”

“The Nautique Big Dawg World Tour is an elite series that brings together some of the top slalom skiers from around the globe,” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “With the support of O’Brien, we’re glad to see this series carry on in 2018.”
