Rodgers Wins Big Dawg Stop No. 4

U.S. water ski athlete Jeff Rodgers (Ninety Six, S.C.) won the fourth stop of the 2017 Nautique Big Dawg World Tour, presented by O’Brien, on Sunday at the Little Mountain Ski Club in Maiden, N.C. Rodgers scored 2 buoys at 41 feet off in the head-to-head final, defeating fellow U.S. athlete and defending series champion Greg Badal (Brentwood, Calif.), who scored 1-1/2 buoys at 41 feet off.

Each stop includes two rounds of 34-mph slalom action, followed by a bracketed 16-skier head-to-head finale. The 2017 Nautique Big Dawg World Tour Finals will be held Aug. 26 at Bell Acqua Lakes in Rio Linda, Calif.
