Halt Wins Nautique Big Dawg Stop No. 2

The second stop of the 2017 Nautique Big Dawg World Tour, presented by O’Brien, was held Saturday and Sunday at Ezylake in Rue Pierre Mendes, France, with Switzerland’s Frederic Halt winning the event. Halt defeated Great Britain’s Jeremy Newby-Ricci in the head-to-head finals, scoring 3 buoys at 41 feet off to Newby-Ricci’s 2 buoys at 41 feet off. For complete results, click here.

Now in its 12th season, the Big Dawg World Tour is exclusively pulled by the world-record setting Ski Nautique 200. The tour includes four qualifying stops around the globe at premier water ski venues as the top 34-mph slalom skiers who are 35+ battle it out for a spot in the Big Dawg World Tour Finals.

Each stop includes two rounds of 34-mph slalom action, followed by a bracketed 16-skier head-to-head finale. The 2017 Nautique Big Dawg World Tour Finals will be held Aug. 26 at Bell Acqua Lakes in Rio Linda, Calif.
