IWWF Hall To Induct Three U.S. Athletes

The International Water Ski & Wakeboard Federation has announced that Kristi Overton-Johnson, Kris LaPoint and Ron Scarpa, all current members of the USA Water Ski Foundationís Water Ski Hall of Fame, will be inducted into the International Hall of Fame on Sept. 8 during the 2017 Water Ski World Championships in Choisy-Le-Roi near Paris, France. Greeceís Angeliki Andriopoulou will be the other inductee.

"With the largest entry of candidates received to date, the nine International Hall of Fame selectors had difficult decisions to make,Ē said Des Burke-Kennedy (Ireland), chairman of the International Hall of Fame Committee. ďBased in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico, New Zealand and the USA, this international panel comprises highly experienced individuals covering many IWWF disciplines. Congratulations to all our 2017 Inductees and we greatly look forward to honoring them at the award ceremony in September.Ē
