The American Kneeboard Association is looking for experienced kneeboard riders who live in an area that does not hold qualifying tournaments for the Kneeboard National Championships. If you would like to compete against nationally-ranked riders, this is the opportunity you don’t want to miss.
The AKA holds an annual Kneeboard National Championships in which you compete in age appropriate, male and female divisions, for slalom and tricks events. Other events held throughout the weekend are flip out and freestyle. The AKA is providing riders the chance to qualify for this tournament on Friday, Oct. 10, provided riders get pre-approved by the AKA board of directors. Qualifying riders will receive a grant that waives the qualifying entry fee and allows you the opportunity to compete at the 2014 Kneeboard National Championships (Disclaimer - Tournament entrance fee, travel expense, accommodations and food are the responsibility of each rider.). This grant is for first-time national qualifiers, provided you get pre-approved by the AKA board. This year’s Kneeboard Nationals will be held Oct. 11-12 at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach, Fla.
