Parrish, Jaquess Win Atlanta Titles

Chris Parrish scores 3-1/2 buoys at 41 feet off in the finals.U.S. water ski athletes Chris Parrish (Orlando, Fla.) and Regina Jaquess (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) won the men's and women's pro slalom titles, respectively, on Monday at the third annual Malibu ProAm Atlanta at Whitestone Lake Estates in Talking Rock, Ga.

The tournament matched professional slalom skiers against one another as well as amateur water skiers that competed against their AWSA scoring average.

Parrish scored 3-1/4 buoys at 41 feet off in the finals to clinch the menís title over Great Britainís Will Asher (3 buoys at 41 feet off). Jaquess scored a Ĺ-buoy at 41 feet off in the finals to secure the womenís title over Canadaís Whitney McClintock (2-1/2 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off).
