IWWF Approves Krueger's World Record

Krueger set the record on May 1 at the Isles Jump Jam 4 in Winter Garden, Fla.The International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation's Tournament Council has approved U.S. water ski athlete Freddy Krueger's pending men's world jumping record of 250 feet (76.2 meters). Krueger set the mark on May 1 at the Isles Jump Jam 4 at the Isles of Lake Hancock in Winter Garden, Fla. "I knew right away this one was big," said Krueger. "Jump of a lifetime!" The distance surpasses the former record of 247 feet (75.2 meters) set by Krueger in November 2008 at the McCormick Fall Open in Seffner, Fla.

Krueger is coming off a 2013 season in which he won nine major titles.
