Competition & Events Coordinator Hired

USA Water Ski is pleased to announce the hiring of Matthew Stone as the organizationís new Competition & Events Coordinator. Stone, a 2012 graduate of Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, will begin his employment at USA Water Ski headquarters on Feb. 10.
Stone most recently served as Vice President of Corporate Sales for TC Sports & Marketing in Bloomington, Ill., where he oversaw the corporate portfolio in addition to serving as Director of Corporate Sales for each of TC Sports & Marketing's sports properties. He moved to the Bloomington area after graduating from Simpson College, where he earned two bachelorís degrees in Business Management and Sports Administration. He also is a graduate of the Sports Management Master's Program at Illinois State University.
At USA Water Ski headquarters, Stone will be the primary staff liaison providing support for tournament organizers conducting tournaments and events for all water sports under the USA Water Ski umbrella. Stone will manage the USA Water Ski sanctioning programs and towboat evaluations, and he will be heavily involved with other staff members in club development and sponsor fulfillment programs. Additionally, he will be responsible for serving as the liaison in coordinating the development and maintenance of web-based programs such as the online sanctions program.
