Krueger, Morgan Win Jumping Titles

U.S. water ski athletes Freddy Krueger (Winter Garden, Fla.) and Lauren Morgan (Odessa, Fla.) won titles in respective events Sunday at the Vladimir Filin Memorial in Moscow, Russia. Krueger won the men's jumping title, soaring 221 feet/67.3 meters. Morgan won her first career professional women's jumping title, leaping 163 feet/67.3 meters.

U.S. athlete Scot Ellis (Auburndale, Fla.) finished runner-up in menís jumping with a distance of 204 feet/62.3 meters), followed by Russia's Igor Morozov with a distance of (204 feet/62.1 meters).

In womenís jumping, Finland's Jutta Lammi finished runner-up with a distance of 160 feet/48.9 meters, followed by France's Marion Mathieu with a distance of 156 feet/47.4 meters. U.S. athlete Alex Lauretano placed fifth with a distance of 153 feet/46.5 meters.
