U.S To Host 2013 Under 21 Worlds

USA Water Ski and the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation are pleased to announce that the Isles of Lake Hancock in Winter Garden, Fla., has stepped up to host the 2013 Under 21 Water Ski World Championships, Sept. 12-15. The first Bulletin from the IWWF with all relevant information will be distributed as soon as possible and posted at www.iwwfed.com.

The Under 21 Worlds was originally scheduled to take place in Namibia, Africa (over the same time period), until the host site experienced organizational issues a few weeks ago and had to abandon its plans to hold the event.

A four-member team will be selected to represent the United States in the Under 21 Worlds, which will be held for the sixth time. Notice of interest must be sent to Brenda Baldwin by July 15 as set out in the Qualifications and Procedures (PDF).

The United States won the Under 21 world team title in 2003, 2005, 2009 and 2011. France won in 2007.
