Athletes Of The Month Selected

USA Water Ski has selected Freddy Krueger (Winter Garden, Fla.) and Erika Lang (Gilbert, Ariz.) as its Male Athlete of the Month and Female Athlete of the Month, respectively, for March. Krueger and Lang are now eligible for the United States Olympic Committee’s Athlete and Team of the Month honors.

Krueger won the men's jumping title at the 53rd Moomba Masters, March 8-11, in Melbourne, Australia, with a distance of 222 feet. Krueger also won the men's jumping title at the IWWF Water Ski World Cup event, March 16-17, in Mandurah, Australia, with a distance of 204 feet, and the men's jumping title at the 2013 EYRES Perth Night Jump, March 22-23, in Perth, Australia, with a distance of 209 feet.

Lang won titles in girls' tricks, jumping and overall, and placed second in slalom at the 2013 Junior Moomba Masters, March 6-7, in Melbourne, Australia. She also won the women's tricks title at the 53rd Moomba Masters, March 8-11, in Melbourne, Australia, and the women's tricks title at the IWWF Water Ski World Cup event, March 16-17, in Mandurah, Australia.
