USA Water Ski is accepting proposals from USA Water Ski clubs, cities and event venues for the 2013 U.S. Elite & Under 21 Water Ski Team Trials. Every two years, skiers have the opportunity to participate in the U.S. Elite and Under 21 Water Ski Team Trials. The two-day event gives skiers from the United States an opportunity to compete in a world-record capability competition and qualify for the teams that will represent the United States at the Water Ski World Championships and the Under 21 Water Ski World Championships.
To view the request for proposal and bid application, click here (PDF). Interested parties need to complete the bid application and submit it to USA Water Ski no later than Dec. 1, 2012.
The six-member U.S. Elite Water Ski Team will compete in the 33rd Water Ski World Championships, Nov. 25-Dec. 1, in San Bernardo, Chile. The four-member U.S. Under 21 Water Ski Team will compete in the 6th Under 21 Water Ski World Championships, Sept. 12-15, in Namibia.
