U.S. Athletes Win Diablo Shores Titles

U.S. water ski athletes Regina Jaquess and Todd Ristorcelli won respective titles Sunday at the 2012 Diablo Shores Pro-Am in Brentwood, Calif.
Jaquess won the professional women's slalom title, defeating Australia's Karina Nowlan in the head-to-head finale with a score of 3 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off to Nowlan's 1-1/2 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off. Risorcelli won the Masters Men title, defeating fellow U.S. athlete Greg Badal in the head-to-head finale, scoring 1 buoy at 41 feet off to Bada's ½-buoy at 41 feet off.
Great Britain's Will Asher won the professional men's slalom title, defeating U.S. athlete Nate Smith in the head-to-head finale, scoring 2 buoys at 41 feet off to Smith's 1 buoy at 41 feet off.
Great Britain's Andy Mapple won the Legends division, defeating U.S. skier Bob LaPoint in the head-to-head finale.
