Canada's David Miller won the second event of the 2012 Nautique Big Dawg World Tour, presented by O'Brien, on Sunday in Bujama Lucas, Peru. Miller defeated U.S. athlete Todd Kuykendall in the head-to-head finale, scoring 5 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off to Kuykendall's 2-1/2 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off.
The 2012 schedule consists of six events, including the series championship, Aug. 16-17, at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Each qualifying event, as well as the series championship, includes two rounds of 34 mph record-capability slalom action, followed by a bracketed 16-skier head-to-head finale.
The series championship will be held under the lights on Aug. 17 during the week of the 70th GOODE Water Ski National championships. Skiers age 35 and older who have not placed in the top 10 of a professional slalom tournament in the past three years are qualified to compete in the Big Dawg World Tour.
France's Thierry Malhomme won the first event of the 2012 tour on March 11 in Melbourne, Australia.
2012 Schedule & Qualifying Rules
March 9-12, Melbourne, Australia: Top-two places and top-two Australians

Ties will be broken by back-up scores from that event first and then another event if necessary.
