Riders Needed For Pan Am Championships

USA Wakeboard is looking for late entries to join the U.S. Wakeboard Team to compete at the 2015 Pan American Wakeboard Championships, Feb. 12-15, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At least 10 countries will be participating, including the United States, Mexico, Canada and a number of South American countries. USA Wakeboard will reimburse all riders representing the United States all entry fees for competition.

Riders Needed For Pan Am Championships

USA Wakeboard is currently seeking riders to represent the United States at the 2015 Pan American Wakeboard Championships, Feb. 10-15, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Interested riders are encouraged to inquire as soon as possible by emailing usawakeboardcollegiate@gmail.com. The USA Wakeboard Selection Committee will provide prompt feedback to each applicant. The results from the Open Men division at the Pan American Wakeboard Championships will be used to select the male athlete that will represent the United States at the XVII Pan American Games, July 20-23, in Toronto.

Merritt Wins Wakeboard World Cup

U.S. wakeboard rider Raimi Merritt (Orlando, Fla.) won the IWWF Wakeboard World Cup event in Linyi, China, on Sunday. Merritt scored 73.22 points in the finals of women’s wakeboarding in defeating Australia's Amber Wing (67.33 points) and Bec Gange (61.67 points).

ASU Wins Collegiate Wakeboard Nationals

The Arizona State University wakeboard team won the national title at the 14th Collegiate Wakeboard National Championships, May 30-June 1, on the Red River in Shreveport, La. The Sun Devils tallied 570 points in winning over runner-up Florida (390 points) and third-place Tennessee (355 points). Twelve teams competed in the event.
