U.S. Show Ski Team Accepting Applications

Applications are now being accepted for the 2014 United States Water Ski Show team. All skiers, drivers and announcers are encouraged to apply. The team will consist of 35 show skiers and performers, with the roster being announced on Aug. 11 at the Division 1 Show Ski National Championships in Rockford, Ill. The application deadline is July 1, 2013.

D1 Show Nationals Set For Aug. 9-11

The 39th Division 1 Show Ski National Championships will be held Aug. 9-11 on the Rock River at Shorewood Park in Loves Park, Ill. Hosted by the Ski Broncs, the tournament will feature more than 1,500 athletes competing for the coveted show ski national title. Fourteen show ski clubs will be competing in this year's tournament.

D2 Show Nationals Set For Aug. 2-4

The 13th annual Division 2 Show Ski National Championships will be held Aug. 2-4 on the Wisconsin River in Tomahawk, Wis. Hosted by the Kwahamot Water Ski Club, the tournament will feature around a dozen teams. Individual titles also will be at stake.

Show Directors Named For U.S. Team

The National Show Ski Association’s board of directors recently announced at its Winter Meeting in Green Bay, Wis., that David Rezin (Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Show Team) and Matt Heilman (Mad-City Water Ski Team) will be co-show directors of the 2014 United States Water Ski Show Team and will have the responsibility of developing, organizing, and leading the team at the 2014 World Show Ski Championships.
