NWSRA Honors Cheryl Ruston & Todd Haig

Cheryl Ruston was selected the National Water Ski Racing Association's Female Athlete of the Year.The National Water Ski Racing Association recently announced its 2014 award recipients. They will be honored at the USA Water Ski awards reception on Saturday, Jan. 24, at USA Water Ski headquarters in Polk City, Fla. Cheryl Ruston (La Palma, Calif.) has been selected Female Athlete of the Year, while Todd Haig (Redlands, Calif.) was named Male Athlete of the Year.

14 Athletes Win National Ski Racing Titles

Bryin Yedor won the GrassRoots division at the 10th U.S. Open Water Ski Racing National Championships.Fourteen water ski racing athletes won titles at the 10th annual U.S. Open Water Ski Racing National Championships, Oct. 11-12, in San Diego, Calif. The National Water Ski Racing Association, a sport discipline organization of USA Water Ski since 1991, hosted the two-day competition.
