Midwest Region Wins Collegiate All-Stars

The National Collegiate Water Ski Association's Midwest Region won the coveted team title at the 21st Collegiate All-Stars Water Ski Championships, May 16-17, at PITS Ski Lake in Decatur, Ill. The two-day event included the top-10 men and top-10 women from each of the National Collegiate Water Ski Association's four regions vying for the coveted regional team title and individual titles in slalom, tricks, jumping and overall.

Badgers Win #LifeOnTheWater Video Contest

The results are in! Congratulations is extended to the Wisconsin Water Ski & Wakeboard team for winning the Collegiate #LifeOnTheWater Video Contest, sponsored by MasterCraft. The videos were judged and voted on in the following three areas: Content, Entertainment and Creativity. The winning video showed several different aspects of the team's experience belly flops, lounging around on shore, barbecues, volleyball, travel, and, of course, water time!

NCWSA Announces 2014 Award Recipients

Louisiana-Lafayette's Dylan Schaffer.The National Collegiate Water Ski Association has announced the recipients of its 2014 awards. They will be honored at the USA Water Ski awards reception on Saturday, Jan. 24, at USA Water Ski headquarters in Polk City, Fla. The recipients are as follows: Dylan Schaffer (Owens Cross Roads, Ala.) of Louisiana-Lafayette (Male Athlete of the Year); Manon Costard (France) of Louisiana-Monroe (Female Athlete of the Year); Cole Grant (Canada) of Louisiana-Lafayette (Male Outstanding Leader); Gina Phillipi (Portland, Ore.) of UCLA (Female Outstanding Leader); and Louisiana-Lafayette (Team of the Year).
