As director of membership programs, Melanie Hanson is responsible for all aspects of membership services and membership development.

Melanie has been employed with USA Water Ski for the past 19 years. She has held numerous positions in the areas of administration, competition and events and membership.

 When away from work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and her two children, Kaitlin and Regan. Mike is president of the National Show Ski Association and has two grown children, Emily and Hunter. Before her recent move to Arizona, Emily skied with the Mad City Water Ski Team in Madison, Wis. Hunter is a professional skier at Cypress Gardens Adventure Park and a wakeboard competitor who lives in Winter Haven, Fla. Needless to say, much of Melanie’s time away from work is also spent on boating and water-related activities. Melanie is originally from upstate New York but has called Lake Wales, Fla., home for the past 30 years.
